What is your role at Vista Health?

As the Sales and Customer Service Team Manager, I communicate with patients, referrers, and other medical organisations. I ensure everyone receives the full Vista Health experience from start to finish.

My team and I have our values, at the forefront of everything we do:

Accessible - With over 40 locations across the UK, we provide an easy and convenient pathway for every patient. There is no need to wait for us, you are now able to book and pay online from the comfort of your own home.

AffordableThe price you see is the price you pay. Our pricing structure enables everyone access to private health services within their budget with MRI scans starting from as little as £199. We pride ourselves on our transparent pricing.

Assuring - Patient health and wellbeing is our priority. Our diagnostic services are available to provide peace of mind with every booking clinically triaged by our expert team to ensure safety. Our friendly, informative patient care team is here to support you throughout your patient journey. When choosing Vista Health, I want our patients to feel at ease and trust that they will be taken care of.

What is your background?

I was born in Yorkshire and lived there until I was 5 years old. My parents moved to Manchester and we have been here ever since. I come from a big family who has taught me a lot. My family is a mixture of teachers, lecturers, council, and government professionals.

Before working for Vista Health, I worked for Mercedes Benz for 5 years as a Team Manager. It was an invaluable experience at a premium brand.

What do you like about working at Vista Health?

There is a collaborative nature to do what is best, work hard, and support one another. I enjoy working with passionate and fresh thinking people as we are always looking at ways to improve and push private health care to the next level. We have recently launched Book & Go, where patients can refer themselves for a scan, pick a time and date and pay at their convenience. It is an industry-first which I am extremely proud to be apart of.

What are the values that drive you?

Integrity, care, and teamwork are the values that drive me. Having integrity is being honest and doing the best by our patients. It is showing empathy, being understanding, and supportive from start to finish. From the initial enquiry to receiving the report to ensure the patient can use the results to gain onwards care/treatment. Effective teamwork promotes a supportive atmosphere to work towards goals. Collectively important to delivering high standard health care to our patients, referrers, and other medical organisations.

Who/What inspired you to pursue the career you have today?

My family, as corny as it may sound. They have always told me to follow what I am passionate about to succeed. It doesn’t feel like work if you enjoy what you are doing.

Your top 3 favourite Podcasts/Books/Films?
  • Podcast – Fearne Cotton Happy Place.
  • Film - It is a tricky one as there are so many! I love a good belly laugh comedy like ‘Girls Trip’ or thriller with twists like ‘Law-abiding citizen’.

What do you enjoy doing when you are not working?

I enjoy going outdoors on a long walk with the dog (slight obsession with my daily steps count must be 8k and over). I love to keep busy doing activities but I do enjoy cosying up on the sofa watching Netflix. Also, one of my passions is food. I spend most of my money dining out with friends and family. Since the lockdown, my new obsession is decorating the house and watching home improvement programs!

My number one passion is travelling. I love to visit other countries, experience different cultures and tastie new cuisine. I have visited places such as Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Lao, Bali and Mexico to name a few. Philippines is next on my list!
