Ambulatory ECG Monitoring
Vista Health is a leading provider of Ambulatory ECG Monitoring services across the UK. An ambulatory ECG monitor assesses the heart rhythm over a period of 24 hours, 48 hours, or 7 days. The test allows you or your doctor to gather information about your heart rhythm without affecting your daily routine. If your doctor suspects you have an irregular cardiac rhythm, this may be the recommended test. Symptoms may include dizzy episodes, intermittent palpitations, or blackouts.

What is Ambulatory ECG Testing?
An ambulatory electrocardiogram (ECG) is a method of assessing your heart's electrical activity and rhythm over time (24 hours to 7 days). The test allows your doctor to gather information about your heart rhythm, whilst you continue with your daily activities.
This test may be recommended if you experience:
- Intermittent palpitations
- Irregular heartbeat
- A suspected heart valve problem
- Fluttering in the chest
- Shortness of breath
Get to the heart of the matter
Ambulatory ECG Testing can be used as a general health check and can help your doctor establish if you have an abnormal heart rhythm. As the monitor records over a 24hours + period, we’re able to capture infrequent heart rhythms whilst you undertake your normal day-to-day activities such as relaxing, exercising, or sleeping.
Prices from only £250
ECG Monitoring is similar to a standard Electrocardiogram (ECG), which analyses the rhythm and electrical activity of your heart, but our single electrode is connected to a compact portable device rather than hospital equipment. It is useful for detecting symptoms such as palpitations or chest pain that are not constant. It is frequently used to test for arrhythmia.
Whilst ECG Monitoring is a painless and completely safe test, we recognise that being told you need to get your heart examined might cause anxiety and concern. Our knowledgeable and passionate medical team will be with you every step of your journey.
