In partnership with Bluecrest

Following your Bluecrest PSA blood test, you may have been advised to speak with a GP to better understand your results and whether further investigation, such as a prostate MRI scan, may be appropriate.

Vista Health works in partnership with Bluecrest to support you with fast access to experienced UK GPs and advanced diagnostic services, helping you take proactive steps in managing your prostate health.

Why book a GP consultation?

A follow-up consultation gives you the opportunity to fully understand your PSA results and what they could mean for you.

  • During your consultation, a Vista Health GP can:

  • Explain your PSA blood test results in detail

  • Review your report, charts and any markers outside the usual range

  • Discuss your symptoms, medical history and personal risk factors

  • Advise whether further investigation, such as a prostate MRI scan, may be appropriate

  • Guide you through your available next steps and answer any questions you may have

This dedicated GP appointment costs only £25. (usual price £50)

What is a prostate MRI scan?

Your GP may recommend a prostate MRI scan as the next step.

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) uses magnets and radio waves to create detailed images of the prostate and surrounding tissue. The scan is:

  • Safe and non-invasive

  • Painless

  • Highly effective at identifying areas that may need further investigation

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer in men, affecting around 1 in 8 men in their lifetime. Early investigation helps ensure that, if treatment is needed, it can begin as soon as possible.
