Metabolic Health

Understand your metabolic health

Your metabolic health affects how your body processes energy and can play an important role in your long-term wellbeing. Factors such as cholesterol, blood sugar and inflammation can change over time, sometimes without obvious symptoms.

Our metabolic health tests assess key markers linked to metabolic and cardiovascular health. They can help you understand your current health, identify potential risk factors and track changes over time.

Choose from at-home or in-clinic testing, depending on your needs and the level of assessment you are looking for.

What does a metabolic health test look at?

Depending on the test you choose, your results can provide insight into several areas of metabolic health:

  • Cholesterol and lipids

Understand your cholesterol profile and how fats are processed in your body.

  • Triglycerides

Measure a type of fat in your blood that can provide insight into metabolic and cardiovascular health.

  • Advanced lipid markers

Provide a more detailed view of your cholesterol and cardiovascular risk.

  • Inflammation

Looks for low levels of inflammation that may be linked to cardiovascular health.

  • Blood sugar

The in-clinic test includes markers that can help assess your blood sugar levels and diabetes risk.

  • Full Blood Count

Included with the in-clinic test to provide information about your general blood health.

Who are metabolic health tests for?

Metabolic health tests may be useful if you have a family history of heart disease or diabetes, are monitoring your cholesterol or blood sugar, want a deeper understanding of your metabolic health, or are focused on weight management, fitness or other health goals.

They can also help you monitor changes over time and provide objective information to support lifestyle choices and discussions with a healthcare professional.

If you have active symptoms, please also contact your GP in the first instance. These tests complement clinical care and are not a substitute for it.
